The preparations for the 8th edition of Tomorrowland have started a few months ago. As usual, the visitors will be immersed in an exclusive, fantastic, and magical world. For three days, the visitors will be pampered into magical settings, a giant dance valley, with high quality food, a friendly rest area, refreshing cocktails, spectacular performances, amazing fireworks, and the most beautiful stages with the biggest DJs of the world for the greatest experiences. This year, the event organizers want to go even further and invest more with the decor, the service, the experience, the finishing touches and the security. Everything, from the main stage to the towels, will be more refined to stimulate the visitor. A team is working on a flat out metamorphosis of de Schorre in a surrealist place where more than 180,000 people will live the better festival weekend of the summer. The most viewed on Youtube.
Last year, TomorrowLand had been able to welcome people from 50 countries and the tickets were sold out in only 4 days. Since the official after movie was uploaded on Youtube, it became something unavoidable with more than 19 million views. This video has been viewed more than the wedding kiss of the British Prince William & Kate Middleton on the Buckingham Palace’s balcony.
Parallel to the after movie success, the Facebook page grew so fast with now more than 750,000 fans, with 8,000 new subscriptions every day. TomorrowLand has gotten more fans than all the other festivals in the world. For several months, TomorrowLand is submerged by the ticket requests from all areas of the world. There were more than 25,000 ticket requests from foreign travel agencies but ID&T, the event organizer, denied all these request to give a fair chance to all the visitors.
But for Belgium, it is necessary to provide something extra to avoid that TomorrowLand become a festival with a minority of Belgian people. The legendary atmosphere comes from the amazing Belgian public. That’s why a special pre-sale dedicated to Belgium will start on March 24th at 11:00 AM, exactly 2 weeks before the official pre-sale. 40% of the tickets are exclusively reserved for the Belgians and the 60% remaining tickets will go on sale 2 weeks later, on Saturday April 7th, for the entire world.
TomorrowLand planes from Europe.
Due to the huge ticket requests from foreign countries, a special collaboration has been established with Brussels Airlines. On July 26th, TomorrowLand flights will take off from 11 big Europeans cities to Brussels, such as Barcelona, Madrid, Roma, Milano, Geneva, London, Berlin, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Lisbon and Porto.
A special collaboration has never been set up for an event like this. The visitors will do their check-in at their country’s TomorrowLand desk, accompanied by TomorrowLand stewards and welcomed in to Belgium with buses driving them to the hotel or to the DreamVille Camping. After the festival, travelers will be driven to the airport. Manu Beers, TomorrowLand organizer, says “For us as for Brussels Airlines, service and quality is important. So, it seemed to be a good collaboration, all the more so we can personalize the planes with the TomorrowLand colors, both inside and out! During the flight to TomorrowLand, people will be immersed in the ambiance. This collaboration allows us to start the party in the clouds.”
